Here is a post about the excitement of Seasons!

This is Sally Qwerty, who I made for to play with new expansiony stuff. She is a Family Sim who wants to raise 20 puppies/kittens, which I am not going to allow. Because it's effort.

She gets a wee garden because I decided to make her into a Plantsim. Note that at this point I had no idea how to make one beyond "get her to garden a lot." She picked up many gardening points, stocked her fridge with fresh produce, and got endless nature-related wants.

She hunted for bugs, resulting in a SWARM OF DEATH which did not kill her but I worried that it might. I didn't know that would happen, so I've learned something. I think that is a FreeTime thing as well(?), so I should have known. Anyway I am never doing that again in case it can kill her.

Oh em gee a penguin! Like I knew there was a penguin but IT IS SO CUTE AND RANDOM.

The penguin dropped by again to talk to the snowman that Sally built just because she could. Later she petted it and it turned right round and spoke to the snowman again. Sadly the snowman melted before their love could fully blossom.

Since she will be spawning asexually, Sally is allowed to be gay. Hurrah! She falls in love with Jan Tellerman and moves her in. They have woohooed in bed and in a tent. Jan is a Romance Sim so the woohoo is to keep her happy. Jan is also an astronaut, or was until she got a new job in the Athletic career because her LTW is to get to the top of that. But she comes with many skill points and the military career reward which is great for body skill.

Jan isn't fugly but I gave her a wee makeover anyway. I dunno, I might give her a ponytail again at some point. Is she okay-looking? She got married to Sally so she is now Jan Qwerty.

Finally! This is after I looked on the internetwebs to find out exactly how to get a Plantsim. My game went all still for aaages and I feared I had broken it but finally I got Sally turned into a plant. She wasn't fussed either way, but now she is easier to play what with having only three needs.

Then she spawned a moderately ugly toddler called Tanya. It was awesome. I got a crib for her wants, but it turns out you don't need one, or a changing thingy, or a potty. So I sold everything but the rabbit head that creepily spins of its own accord.

Tanya grew up looking a bit less male but still a bit thin in the face. She is a Knowledge Sim and now I am trying to find out if she can safely get a job or if they will get a bigger garden and sell the stuff. They don't need the money though, cos I cheated them rich and Jan brings in a fair bit.

It is all vastly exciting to me!

My favorite thing about Plantsims, when the toddlers grow up they get all of their parents skills. This can also be the bad thing about Plantsims because when the toddler has no need to play with the skill building toys all they want is someone to pay attention to them.

My Family Sim turned out to be a rubbish mother with no wants related to the kid, while the Romance Sim kept autonomously playing with it.

Jan turned out lovely with that makeover :) I like!
and i'm pretty sure the bees can't kill your sim - miranda capp is crazy about nature in my game but severely accident prone. she gets chased by bees pretty much every bug hunt and every time she gets home from a hike... and she's never died... i think just their comfort and fun drops a lot while they're chased...

I feared BEE DEATH might happen D: I get scared of my Sims dying by accident.

I think Jan looks great the way you have her made over!
And yay, plantsims. I still have yet to have one in my game, and I'm very jealous of you.

Jan is not too bad in the face, which helps.
Plantsims are great so far! I hope they don't decide they want to be cured of it.
